In the year 2020, when the whole world was knocked down by COVID-19; a team of young, determined and Self-motivated people visited a village called Kirugavalu in Malavalli Taluk of Mandya District.
When we visited the place, we came across 27 cute and bright little children in the school campus eagerly waiting for someone who could take good care of their academic needs & self-development. Inspired by the children's enthusiasm and potential, the team recognized the pressing need for support and intervention in rural education. Driven by their commitment to effecting positive change, they founded Vriddhi Foundation, a beacon of hope and empowerment. Since then, Vriddhi Foundation has grown into a force for educational and social transformation, dedicated to providing quality education and holistic development opportunities to communities.
"In Sanskrit, "Vriddhi" (वृद्धि) means growth, progress, or development. Therefore, "Vriddhi Foundation" would signify a foundation dedicated to fostering growth, progress, and development, which aligns well with its mission of providing education and opportunities to children. Ms. Prathima Devi T P and Team are Managing the Vriddhi Foundation Non Profit Organisation. Ms. Prathima Devi T P is a B.Sc, B.Ed, MBA graduate from Bangalore. She has 14-Years of overall experience in the field of Education working at various designations. Having good exposure towards various mechanisms and different methodologies of operations, she took over the most challenging aspect of educating the children.
We at Vriddhi Foundation believe that this is the fundamental truth and it has always been the endeavour of the school to instil rights and values in its students so that they develop holistic personality and are ready to take on challenges once they step out of the gates of our school.
